Cedrick D. Forrest has amassed an impressive record of courtroom victories in a short amount of time gaining him the respect of seasoned trial attorneys and, most importantly, the trust of his satisfied clients . Cedrick was raised by a single mother in Paris, Texas, a small town two hours east of Dallas, Texas near the Texas-Oklahoma border, who had adopted Cedrick and his brother as children. Cedrick grew up in a home where sacrifice, dedication, and working hard to obtain goals were always on display and instilled daily. Cedrick did not take the traditional route to becoming a lawyer that most lawyers take by choosing college immediately after high school but instead chose to obtain real world experience and begin his first step towards a life of service to others. After graduating high school Cedrick joined the United States Navy and served his country in combat during Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom with the 2nd Battalion/1st Marines as a Fleet Marine Force Navy Hospital Corpsman. Cedrick was awarded the Combat Action Ribbon and earned the Fleet Marine Force Warfare Specialist designation during combat operations in the Al Anbar Province of Iraq in 2005. Cedrick received an honorable discharge from military service in 2006. Cedrick received his Doctorate of Jurisprudence degree from University of Houston Law Center. After graduating law school he worked for some of the biggest and well-known personal injury law firms in the country. Although Cedrick's work for these law firms was fulfilling and he was able to help many families recover after devastating losses, Cedrick felt the need to help people and businesses within his community with his legal expertise and knowledge in the areas of insurance law, personal injury, and fair credit reporting laws.
