From our Houston, California and New York offices, Matthews & Associates has helped injured people recover civil damages in nearly all 50 states and Puerto Rico. Founded by David P. Matthews, a former partner in one of Texas’ oldest personal injury firms, Matthews & Associates is a law firm of trial lawyers as well as researchers, investigators and licensed medical personnel.

Most law firms specializing in personal injury cases seldom try a case in the courtroom. Most personal injury attorneys sign up cases and refer them to another law firm. We are that other firm. We investigate, hire experts, take depositions, order medical records and spend our own money to battle corporations such as heavyweights from Big Pharma, Big Oil and other corporate giants that most citizens don’t have the resources to battle themselves. We suit up and hit the courts for people who may have gotten a raw deal or had very bad luck with some dubious corporate product. We’re here to help, and we work on a contingency fee basis, which means a client pays absolutely nothing unless we win the case for that client.
