Cokinos | Young Decisively Defeats $50 Million+ Claim with Jury Verdict!

Cokinos | Young is proud to announce a complete defense verdict for its client, Ring Energy, Inc. (NYSE: REI), in response to over $50 million in alleged damages asserted in a significant oil and gas dispute. The breach-of-contract and fraud-based allegations arose from a failed purchase and sale agreement involving assets in the Permian Basin. However, after years of litigation, substantial discovery, and a week-long trial, the jury returned a verdict awarding Plaintiff $0.00. “A tremendous result,” according to Ring Energy, Inc. Chairman and CEO Paul McKinney.
