So this morning I was reading a post about soupgate and read the reply "yeah kind of like that woman that got millions from spilling coffee on herself." Turns out the misinformed comment came from a young woman that works for an insurance agency. So I decided today is the day I will not remain silent.

I am not advocating whether the result was fair, unfair, proper, improper or otherwise. The point is far too many people make comments about this case without really knowing the facts. If after watching this movie you still feel the outcome was a travesty of justice, no problem. The point is have an informed opinion.
This poor woman continues to suffer to this day as her name is continuously drug through the mud. Her lawyers as well-this case is lawyer bashers' exhibit 1. I'm here to tell you that the lawyers in this case did an outstanding job. Anyone that needs a lawyer should pray and hope that their lawyer is as competent and skilled as the lawyers in this case.
What's ironic about this case is that most people that find the result offensive are supporters of less government. This case, however, is the poster child for self-government by citizens.
