Happy Memorial Day

‘Sacrifice, is a word with some weight in it. For some it carries a very real and very heavy toll with it. That is why day's like Memorial Day are so important in this great nation. It is a Day that all across the country we take the time to come together, regardless of city or race and celebrate all of those who we have lost. Whether it's someone directly related to you, or someone you know - a day like today is so important because it shows everyone how much that sacrifice is valued. Long weekends stick out in people's mind and yes the BBQ helps, but in the end it is due to the sacrifice of many we are able to enjoy the freedoms we hold so dear.

So very proud of my eldest child that graduated from the University of Texas Dallas this week with a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience. It also called for amicable parents coming together to celebrate their children’s achievements. Sending blessings and success to their new journies and adventures as they live life, starting graduate school and working. We love you, V!!! :)
