"A Bryan employee of 16-years at the Texas Department of Criminal Justice has died from COVID-19. The department is grieving the loss of 57-year-old Treva Preston, a correctional lieutenant assigned to the Hamilton Unit in Bryan. Preston passed away in a Bryan hospital in the early morning on Jan. 15, according to a Facebook post by the TDCJ." via KAGS TV

"Dorothy Caylor, a 62-year-old human resources specialist who had 15 years of service with the TDCJ and was assigned to the Roach Unit in Childress, died Thursday at an Amarillo hospital, according to a news release from TDCJ.
