It’s important to us to enhance downtown Houma. We have done a complete restoration of our interior office space. We look forward to our exterior enhancements in coming months!

This building in downtown Houma originally housed a German immigrant’s tailor shop, and later, a grocery. Currently the Landry Magee Law Office, it will be returned to its historic appearance with funding from a Louisiana Main Street restoration grant. The project includes exterior painting, replacement of the front door, and addition of copper lanterns and cloth awning.

Restoration Grants provide matching funds to encourage the revitalization of historic downtown commercial properties in designated Louisiana Main Street districts. It offers two types of competitive state-funded, dollar-for-dollar matching grants: a $10,000 grant for major projects and a $2,500 grant for minor projects. Grants are awarded annually for either interior or exterior rehabilitation.

The Landry Magee office was largely spared major damage on Main Street. We are extremely fortunate.

Today is the big day! We’ve moved next door to 7837 Main Street. We purchased this historic building on Main Street and have totally renovated it and can’t be more excited to share it with our clients!

Monday morning we’ll be up and running and excited to have you come take a look. We are proud of Downtown Houma’s history and beautiful buildings and hope we have made our city proud in our efforts to live and work downtown. Exterior restoration is next!
