🚨 Starting today, August 1st, a new Louisiana law goes into effect officially making child grooming a crime.

The state defines "grooming" as the pursuit of an intimate relationship with a child under 17 through seduction, emotional manipulation, threats, promises, coercion, enticement, isolation, or extortion with the intent to commit a sexual offense, whether aggravated or not.

🔎 Knowing the stages of grooming helps us recognize the warning signs and intervene before harm happens.
