Our hearts are heavy with the news of the passing of our law partner and friend, Don Schnipper. He will be missed greatly by our firm and by the Hot Springs community. Don has been a leader in the law profession for over 50 years and was past president of the Arkansas Bar Association. He gave his time and efforts to improving the legal profession and Hot Springs. Don was always outgoing and friendly and made each person he met feel special. He had a wonderful sense of humor and always had a story to tell. Don was one of a kind, and his memory will live on for years to come. He left a lasting legacy both through the law firm he poured his heart into and his family, whom he loved dearly. We were fortunate to know Don and work with him and will never forgot the impact he had on each of our lives.

Our partner, John S. Stobaugh, was fortunate enough to sit down with Misty Castile of the Hot Springs Village Voice to discuss various legal issues facing domestic violence victims and the many options victims have to address the situation. Please do not hesitate to contact our office at 501-624-1252 if you have any questions about any side of domestic violence. Always remember that you are never alone and there options out there to protect you.

Our firm is happy to help this great cause, hope to see you there!

The current events have many people thinking about their estate plans. Governor Asa Hutchinson signed an amended Executive Order effective March 31st that suspends in-person witnessing and notarization of legal documents. I know many people have thought about estate planning due to the Coronavirus but do not want to compromise their health or their family's health when they meet with an attorney to sign their estate planning documents. This change allows us to prepare your estate planning documents without you ever having to leave your house. If you have questions about estate planning, I would be happy to speak with you and answer your questions. We are proud to serve Hot Springs and the surrounding communities and look forward to helping you any way we can.

-Beau Britton

An amended Executive Order (EO) 20-03 is in place as of Tuesday, March 31, suspending in-person witnessing and notarization of legal documents in Arkansas.
