DAMON KEY WELCOMES 3 NEW ASSOCIATES—After being officially sworn in to the Hawaii State Bar, attorneys and staff welcomed Paris K. Johnson and Cara Rozzi-Johnson and their loved ones as our two newest Associates! Both served as Summer Law Associates in 2024, and were offered full-time positions after completing law school and passing the bar exam.

We also welcomed Frances Nicole L. Tabios, who joined the firm after completing a prestigious United States District Court clerkship. She was a Summer Law Associate in 2023.

Damon Key attorney, and President of the Hawaii State Bar Association, Mark M. Murakami was recently quoted in an article discussing the Hawaii Supreme Court’s pilot project addressing widespread shortages of attorneys in government criminal litigation offices.

Attorneys licensed in other states and in good standing can practice in Hawaiʻi without taking the state bar, as long as they work in criminal litigation for a government agency.
