A client story that captures what I do
A few months ago, a woman reached out to me late in the day. Her mother was in a care facility, very ill, and they needed power of attorney documents notarized urgently. The family was overwhelmed—they didn’t know the process, they weren’t sure how stable Mom would be, and they needed someone who could be gentle, patient, and understanding.
I drove across the island to meet them that evening.
When I arrived, I didn’t walk in with a clipboard. I walked in with compassion. I slowed everything down. I explained every step—not just to the daughter, but to the mother so she felt seen and respected. We took breaks. We repositioned pillows. We made sure she was comfortable. The daughter actually started crying—not because of the documents, but because someone finally helped instead of making the situation harder.
When it was done, she hugged me and said, “Debbie, you made this so easy. I didn’t know notaries did this.”
Moments like that are why I do what I do.
And those moments are why your referrals matter—not just to grow my business, but because they allow me to show up for people at the exact moment they need someone steady and kind.
