Important update: SNAP Replacement benefits application available for current recipients affected by Kona Low weather event.

This assistance is for current SNAP recipients who experienced food loss due to household misfortune, such as extended power outages or flooding.

To qualify, SNAP recipients must submit a written statement reporting the food loss within 10 days of the incident.

Deadline for submitting the application has been extended to April 2nd in areas specified on slide 3 of this post.

On 3/28, Legal Aid Society of Hawai’i and Catholic Charities Hawai’i are holding a Refugee, Asylee, & Ukrainian Resource Fair at 1822 Ke'eaumoku St., Honolulu, HI 96822 (Catholic Charities Hawai’i's office). Students from UC Berkley Law will present information about current immigration law and public benefits for Refugees, Asylees, and Ukrainians. Individuals from all countries are welcome.
