It seems that so many people I meet who have a traffic or criminal charges pending believe a plea deal is thier first position, even if they are innocent!. Conplaints and misconceptions about lawyers fees, appointed counsel and their confuse many. The solution of course is educating oneself about the process before you are in Court.
