Back discomfort is one of the most common causes for Americans to go to the doctor each year. Back discomfort can be caused by one of two things.

1. Lumbar Strain/Sprain occurs when the back ligaments are damaged or stretched excessively.
2. Muscle Strain is a torn or overstretched muscle.

Are you developing signs of Carpal Tunnel? This condition could be considered a work-related injury protected under workers' compensation law. But what exactly is carpal tunnel?

This syndrome occurs when the median nerve is crushed by the bones and ligaments surrounding it, resulting in carpal tunnel syndrome. Weakness in the wrist and tingling or numbness are common symptoms associated with the condition. It could stem from various things, including inflammation, medicine, diabetes, and obesity.

If you think your job caused your carpal tunnel, you should first consult your doctor. Explain your working conditions and inquire if they believe your injury is related to your job. Report the injury to your employer, who should subsequently file a claim with their workers' compensation insurance if they believe it is work-related.
