Established in March 1991, S. Davis & Associates, P.A. (SDA) is a full-service auditing, tax, accounting and consulting firm with offices in Hollywood, Miami and West Palm Beach. When public dollars are involved, accountability matters.

An independent audit conducted by S. Davis & Associates, P.A. (SDA) for Broward County Public Schools was recently featured in the South Florida Sun Sentinel.

Examining the district's use of voter-approved referendum funds, SDA's audit found that spending was largely consistent with requirements, while identifying two exceptions and opportunities to strengthen transparency and financial oversight.

It's a powerful example of why independent auditing matters—not just for compliance, but for building public trust and supporting responsible financial stewardship.
