A frequent question I get is "Will you do an open house?". Here in south Florida the idea of opening my door to any stranger doesn't feel like a good idea. I would prefer to have another agent bring a qualified buyer to my home. There are exceptions of course. If you are in a "hot market" expecting multiple offers would be an example. Your agent is more than qualified to advise you if that open house is your best interest. There are also what we in the industry call "brokers opens" where your agent would invite local Realtors to preview your home. Thoughts/comments?
