Lord help anyone buying a home from her!

The real estate license number 3461181 was issued to Gozdziak, Renata M on 29 December, 2019. The status of license is Current (Active) and address listed on Renata M Gozdziak's license document is 2485 A Bristol Ridge Rd, Bristol, Illinois, 60512. The license is effective from 28 December, 2019 and will expire on 30 September, 2021.

Buyers beware they have a thief amongst their agents. When we contacted Coldwell Banker she sent an email refunding our money, the we got another email saying she cancelled the refund.

We reserved a condo with Renata Gozdziak on 12/27/2019. Property #876334. Our total was $1104.61. We made a payment on 12/27/2019 of $503.81. A second payment of $503.80 was made 3/11/2020. Our original days were in April, after a discussion about COVID19 concerns with Renata Gozdziak the dates were moved to May 14-21, 2020. This was a cheaper week, Renata refused to refund the difference. Once she had our payments she was very difficult to communicate with. Fast forward to May 1st, I emailed her with a question about check in. She emailed back answering the question and then again about the Resorts pools not being open and wanted to move us to a different resort. Not a big deal to us, we would be on the beach. I responded to her email that we would stay in the rental we had originally reserved. 5/9/2020 we received an automated email with the door code for our rental. Later that same day we get an email from Renata that she was canceling our condo rental due to pools being closed. We reached out to her by phone and asked her not to cancel because the pool wasn’t an issue for us. She then advised that the condo owner didn’t want anyone who was not an owner to rent the condos. She advised she could move us to other condos, none of which met our needs. She then advised she would refund our money. We received an automated reply that the condo had been canceled on 5/10/2020 and a partial refund of $503.81 would be refunded. I responded to her email asking if the other payment would be sent separate. No response. I emailed again on May 12,2020 with no response. She has ended all communication. Until I contacted Coldwell Banker. Then scammed us again to be able to show them she refunded it only to cancel the refund. Please save yourself time and money and do not deal with this group/person. Below is the public contact information I have gathered for her, hopefully if you see any of this information you will be more cautious that we were of her tactics.

Now we will file a formal complaint with all parties, HomeAway.com, Vrbo.com or VacationRentals.com, Florida’s Attorney Generals office, the BBB, consumer affairs, trip advisor etc. basically I will continue to file until we receive our refund. Our law firm has also been contacted. Please save yourself time and money and do not deal with this group/person.
