Sabine von Mering will delve into the revolutionary impact of social media on the spread of antisemitism, white supremacy, and other forms of hate, including among youth. The discussion will also offer practical strategies for individuals, groups, and institutions to combat these issues. This event is open to everyone and free of charge. We extend a special invitation to parents, urging them to attend and gain valuable insights into addressing these challenges. Please register at: https://hinghamunity.org/event/social-media-rising-extremism/

Dr. von Mering is Professor of German and Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies and Director of the Center for German and European Studies at Brandeis University. Criminal Defense

With over years of experience in the criminal justice system in Massachusetts, we help people who have been charged with crimes. Potential criminal charges for you or a loved one are terrifying and can have unexpected consequences. Most people who find themselves charged with a crime are good people, they may have used poor judgment, or simply been in the wrong place at the wrong time. A lot of times, people are accused of crimes that they did not commit. At Jessica Foley Law we help you navigate a system that may seem foreign to you (it’s not to us!) and work with you to protect your rights and minimize potential consequences. We don’t sugar coat that truth - so while we hope the worst case scenario doesn’t happen - you will be informed of potential ramifications while we try to minimize with a plan, which may include Motion to Dismiss, Motion to Suppress, a plan for mental health or drug treatment, or Trial.
