Wonderful closing for my friends Julio and Yamaleth Ortega the owners of Gutter Solutions LLC who just bought Lowcountry Seamless Gutters from Paul Gravil. Wonderful people and a great success story. Julio and Yamaleth came to America from Honduras with nothing and in 25 years have become US citizens, own a successful business, own property and have a wonderful family. So very proud to be a part of the Home Builders Assoc Education Foundation Committee for 27 years. Yesterday our committee invested in eleven awesome young graduates by giving forty-four thousand $$$$$. The wonderful committee chaired by volunteer Melisssa Brock of the Greenery and supported by HBA staff Meg James, Sarah Clemmons and Ann Graves has done a terrific job raising money to support higher education in our fantastic Lowcountry three county area.

What an awesome closing today. Makes me glad I don’t do much litigation anymore. Welcoming new friends George and Jane Tolhurst to the Lowcountry from Tennessee. Bought an awesome home in Hilton Head Plantation with the help of my friend of 40 years, Joe Lucchesi. To make things insanely fun they brought in their daughter Dr Katie and their beautiful granddaughter. Left my office to start moving in with a copy of my book under their arm. So incredibly blessed to have days like this!

Wonderful closing with good friends/New friends Taryn and Alan Brooks. Bought a great home in Sun City. Did an estate plan for Taryn‘s mom recently and got to know her side of the family and now know Alan. Alan is a barbecue pitmaster from Oklahoma so we had plenty to talk about. Welcome these folks to our great part of the world!
