RAD CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS 11/6:

We are making great progress in the warehouse, but there is still plenty of mud and debris in there, so we will continue to focus on cleaning it out this weekend.
Riverview Station schedule this week, 9-4 daily:
Thursday, November 7th
Friday, November 8th
Saturday, November 9th
Sunday, November 10th
Monday, November 11th
VOLUNTEER NEEDS:
•People who work in construction, landscaping, farming or something similar who can maintain a safe work environment under uncertain conditions to help clear a debris pile that may be comingled with glass
•Volunteers who can muck mud
•We need volunteers to staff the welcome tent on Friday, November 8th from 12:30 – 4:00 p.m., Saturday, November 9th from 9 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. and Sunday, November 10th from 9 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. and 12:30 – 4:00 p.m. If you are able to do this, please text Jenny at 828-380-9505
•We need a nurse or nursing student to staff the medic tent on Saturday, November 9th and Sunday, November 10th from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. If you are able to do this, please text Jenny at 828-380-9505
•We need someone with a very small skidsteer, bobcat, or dingo who can help to move the mud out of the warehouse
•We need someone with a very large trackhoe who can help us to move debris to the road so FEMA will pick it up
•We need to find a home for one of the port-a-jons that were donated to us.
ITEM NEEDS:
•Valved n95 masks
•Rubber-coated cloth gloves
RADFEST 1.0 130 Roberts St.
RAD artist volunteers are needed to make RADfest 1.0 a spectacular event, especially for our displaced artist friends.
If you can in the PineGate Renewables parking lot around 9:30 on Saturday morning to help set up tents, give out information and generally be a help, we would so appreciate it!
DONATION SUPPLY STATION 126 ROBERTS ST
RAD artist volunteers are needed to man the donation supply site Friday, November 8th and Monday-Thursday, November 11th-14th 1-5 pm each day. The site will be closed during RADfest. Email Heidi at [email protected] for info.
