Johnson's Legal Services We provide recordings and summaries of Social Security hearings.

Subcontractors come to Johnson's Legal Services with excellent communication and computer skills. Mary Ellen provides them with comprehensive verbatim hearing recordings (VHR) training which includes sessions on equipment operation, hearing room procedures, setting up a remote hearing room, and successful note taking. Mary Ellen believes the secret of successful note taking is being knowledgeable

of the subject (Social Security). So, she emphasizes the mission of the Social Security Administration/Office of Disability Adjudication and Review, the various Social Security claim and hearing types as well as the sequential evaluation process for disability claims. This knowledge enables she and her subcontractors to provide high quality VHR products which truly assist the decision writer, administrative law judge (ALJ) and others. Johnson's Legal Services realizes that each ALJ conducts his/her hearings differently and she and her subcontractors identify and accommodate individual preferences so that each hearing will proceed as timely and smoothly as possible.
