I want to get some clarification out there in regards to the SilencerShop victory. While millions of enthusiasts may get to purchase suppressors without all the NFA red tape, that ruling won't help NC residents in any way, shape, or form. According to NCGS 14-288.8, the legality of suppressors in NC is specifically tied to NFA registration. The only way I can see North Carolinians getting to experience freedom from the NFA is a repeal or amendment of that statute. NFA transfers will continue the same way we've been doing them for the foreseeable future.

Just had a new customer call me. He's been trying to remove a barrel nut off his AR. It's a PSA upper, and apparently they weren't even capable of breaking it loose. He tried a couple other places to no avail before he called me. He showed up, and the standard barrel nut was pretty chewed up. I broke out my Geissele Automatics, LLC reaction rod and Real Avid armorer's wrench and with just a single ugga (no dugga), off it came. I went ahead and installed his new parts. In 10 minutes or less, he was finished. Even sent him home with a free bottle of Kendrick Thompson Purp Drank gun l**e because friends help friends.

I tell you all that to say this: just because a gun store exists, it doesn't mean they know what they're doing. I sent him out the door at no charge because I felt that was the right thing to do. Most people getting into this hobby just need a little help, and their wallets shouldn't be raked over the coals for it. Yes, I'm sure he will share his experience, but that's not why I do what I do. I have zero intention of doing this full-time, so added business isn't my goal. Helping people and spreading Jesus' love through small acts of kindness and generosity are the end-game. Kindness doesn't cost a thing, and is something we can all do.

Now stocking Purp Drank, a new concoction by Kendrick Thompson. Tired of getting a gun out of storage to find that all the oik has run out? This stuff stays where you put it. To say I'm pleased with how these Exigent Defense suppressors perform would be an understatement. I won't hesitate to recommend them beside the likes of SilencerCo, OCL, or B&T.

Just a friendly reminder that SilencerShop kiosks aren't the only (or even the best) answer to doing your NFA transactions. If having access to your data any time or anywhere you need it is important to you, find a dealer that keeps things in-house.
