🇺🇸 Does marrying a U.S. citizen automatically make you a U.S. citizen?

The short answer is no.

Marriage to a U.S. citizen does not automatically grant U.S. citizenship. In most cases, the process begins with obtaining lawful permanent residence (a Green Card), and only after meeting specific legal requirements may you become eligible to apply for naturalization.
