✅ Discuss any questions or tax issues with you
✅ Make sure your return is ready to file by the deadline

🎉 We’re excited to welcome Jackson to the team!

As he works toward his accounting degree at Northwest Mississippi Community College, Jackson is also taking an exciting step into the professional world. He plans to continue his education at the University of Mississippi and is eager to gain experience that will help shape his career.

Outside of work and school, Jackson enjoys spending time on the golf course, exercising, watching sports, and learning from historical documentaries.

💡 TAX TIP TUESDAY: Give to Charity AND Reduce Taxable Income!

Are you 70½ or older, have an IRA, and give to your church or favorite charity?

Consider a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) instead of taking the IRA money yourself and then making the donation.

A QCD allows you to send money directly from your IRA to a qualified charity.

Why is that a big deal?

✅ It can count toward your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD)
✅ The QCD is generally excluded from taxable income
✅ You can benefit even if you take the standard deduction
✅ A lower income may also help with other tax calculations

💰 Same charitable gift. Potentially better tax result.

If you're already giving to charity and taking IRA distributions, talk with your tax professional about whether a QCD makes sense before you take your RMD.

📌 Tax Tip Tuesday: Sometimes how you give can be just as important as how much you give!

We are excited to welcome Driving Ms. Amy, LLC who offers certified driver education training for new drivers and their families across North Mississippi. Their program is designed to help students gain the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to meet state licensing requirements and become safe, responsible drivers.

“My husband and I started this service to help families in North Mississippi with the new law that went into effect July 1, 2026, requiring all new licensed drivers in Mississippi to have drivers' education with a certified MDE or DPS instructor. Classes are forming now!”🚗🚙
