If you’ve been wondering why I’ve been a little quiet on here lately… it’s because I’ve been busy helping some incredible clients behind the scenes. ❤️

While social media usually highlights the closing photos, it doesn’t always show the countless conversations, negotiations, inspections and problem solving that happened to get there.

Over the last two weeks, I have had the privilege of helping my amazing sellers close the chapter on one of their investment properties in Brevard while also helping two sweet first time homebuyer couples go under contract on homes in Hendersonville.

Moments like these are why I love what I do. I’m so grateful for the trust my clients place in me and share these exciting milestones with you. 🏡✨

A little late posting this one because life has been full lately and for that, I'm incredibly grateful.

This one actually closed a few weeks ago, but it's a transaction I'll remember.

When I first met my buyer, he was pre-approved with his local credit union. Before writing the offer, I had multiple conversations with the lender and everything appeared to be on track.

Once we were under contract, I noticed the communication started to fade from the lender. There were no updates on the appraisal, no loan status updates and it became increasingly difficult to get answers.

The lender then sent an email to my buyer stating he was no longer pre-approved. No phone call for an explanation. It turned out the issue wasn't that my buyer couldn't qualify. The lender simply hadn't requested additional documentation from his employer that was needed to keep the loan moving forward. Instead of identifying the issue early and working through it, valuable time had been lost.

At that point, I called one of my preferred lenders.

He immediately stepped in, gathered the documentation that was needed, communicated with everyone throughout the process and got us to the closing table.

I also have to give a huge thank you to the seller, who was incredibly understanding and gracious enough to extend our closing date while we worked through the lender change. Without that patience, this transaction may have looked very different.

One thing I always want people to know: I don't receive any incentives for recommending my lenders. I recommend the lenders I do because I've seen situations like this happen far too often. My goal is to help protect my clients from unnecessary stress, delays and the possibility of losing due diligence money or earnest money over issues that could have been avoided with better communication and follow through.

Choosing the right lender is just as important as choosing the right Realtor. Having the right team behind you can make all the difference when unexpected challenges come up.

These clients are so close to my heart. They are repeat clients and the fact that they continue to trust me with such important milestones means more than I can put into words.

I helped my clients purchase this home just over two years ago, and like life tends to do, things changed.
