🚨 Friendly Reminder: Know the Law. Protect the Public.

A homeowner absolutely has the right to market and discuss their own property.

FSBO is legal.

However, Kentucky law does not allow unlicensed individuals to perform brokerage activities on behalf of others.

That includes advertising someone else’s property as though you represent it, soliciting buyers, answering questions about the property as if you are the representative, or negotiating a transaction.

Consumers deserve accurate information and ethical representation.

Kentucky’s real estate license laws exist to protect the public—not to prevent homeowners from selling their own homes.
