Its been a fun and busy September especially as we near the month end. Its actually crazy as escrow and title are doing their best to meet the deadlines. I met a signer at a shop and immediately felt a negative aura as he approach me. Instead of saying hello, I was directed where to sit. I politely did and proceeded with the signings. He was frustrated how the loan was processed, but had to explain very little as far as what notary can say. Notaries can not add info nor advise the client. As we go through the process, I started small talk, and clicked on what we have in common, and that is family. His face light up with a smile. We got comfortable talking about our young adult kids and his aura changed positively. He shared with me how he work hard for his family. His spirit was uplifted and his face radiated even more. Notaries are not psychologist, but making the client at ease and comfortable with small talks of something you have in common makes a difference. After the signings, he said he will call his agent to apologize for his mean demeanor. "Peace begins with a smile" - Mother Teresa
