Your commercial lease is coming up for renewal. Have you read it lately?
For a Heber Valley business owner, renewing a lease can feel routine. You’ve been in the same space for years, your landlord knows you, and everyone expects the business to stay.
But the renewal is worth a closer look.
Does the lease give you a right to renew, or does the landlord have to agree? How will the new rent be determined? Are you responsible for building repairs or other expenses that have increased since you signed?
And importantly, does the lease require written notice months before the current term ends?
These are much easier questions to address before a renewal deadline passes.
At Gordon Law Group, we help local business owners review commercial leases, negotiate terms, and plan for what comes next.
Local Roots. Sound Judgment.
