While its understandable why some would think an Attorney, like Jamie, with an office on her residential property may be available 24/7, know that our reality is 2 in-office days for the rest of June, and, 7 in-office days in July.
I, Jesse - Office Assistant, travel with the Jamie in order to keep things moving. Having this set up has allowed us to take more clients. I carry an office cell phone that can be reached any time at 270-922-8939. You can even text.
Please make an appointment, and when you do arrive, be respectful of the residential property.

‼️A notice from the Kentucky Bar Association was sent out stating there are scammers stealing Attorney's information, making their own letterhead, and posing as immigration Attorney's in order to receive money. ‼️

Jamie Stephens is not an Immigration Attorney, if you receive anything stating she is, do not respond.

WARNING! DO NOT OPEN ENCRYPTED EMAILS FROM US!

We were sent an email by a hacker that indicated it was from another attorney and was an encrypted file. We opened it and of course gave access to our own system. If you receive the same from me, PLEASE DO NOT OPEN IT! It will ask you to go through various encryption methods - just delete it. It will indicate we are sharing a file through Microsoft 365 - we don't use that to share files with clients. We only use docusign or proof . com.

If you want a return phone call from our office. Leave a voicemail.

Legal Assistant (....Who hears how our office is hard to reach from people who do not leave a voicemail, utilize our texting line, my direct email address posted on FB, or FB Messenger.)

A few things to know:
1. If we don't know who you are, or why you're calling, we will not call back blindly. Some call for info before deciding divorce... Calls at the wrong time can be awkward, and even dangerous for those in Domestic Violence situations.
2. I travel to court with Jamie, which is why we have an office cell phone, of which, you can text.
3. In the last 60 days, we have had 11 full days in the office... It is more effective for me to travel with Jamie instead of waiting for Jamie to return to the office.

I know our set up is a little non-traditional, but, as everything does, we had to evolve in order to help as many as we can.

The number of lawyers practicing in rural counties are lessening daily. I'd venture to say offices like ours, may become the new norm as time goes on.

📢Hancock County Schools are closed today and tomorrow; the flu is trying to take over the county and has unfortunately made its way into our homes and office.
The office is closed to the public until Monday, Feb. 23rd, 2026.
We are working to get messages and calls returned and will be in contact with clients as the week goes on.
