For Mississippi attorneys, here is another friendly reminder that the 6-hour In-Person CLE requirement has been restored.
(You will recall that this requirement was suspended in 2020, 2021, 2022, & 2023 due to COVID.)

This means that - for the CLE reporting year that ends on July 31, 2024 - Mississippi attorneys will need to earn at least 6 hours of CLE at an In-Person CLE seminar. The remaining 6 hours of CLE can be earned at In-Person seminars, On- Demand online CLE, and/ or Live Webcasts.

Today is "Love Your Lawyer Day"!

Yes, that really is a thing. This "holiday" was established in 2001 as a PR effort on behalf of beleaguered lawyers everywhere. It is now observed on the 1st Friday of every November.
