As a member of the Connecticut Council for Non-Adversarial Divorce, I believe there is a better way to divorce in Connecticut. CCND is hosting Divorce With Respect Week in Connecticut from September 12-16, 2022. Mediators and Collaborative Divorce professionals throughout Connecticut will be hosting a series of events, including a feature on the well-known Divorce and Beyond Podcast, hosted by Susan Guthrie. CCND members will also be hosting shows in their continuing series on Community Forum, a local Comcast program, as well as participating in live events hosted by various collaborative divorce pods throughout the state, and offering free 30-minute consultation to individuals exploring non-adversarial divorce options. During these free events and consultations, divorce professionals will explain how the divorce process can be managed respectfully, and how often, an interdisciplinary team approach can best assist families. The consultation creates no obligation to hire that professional or initiate divorce proceedings. These are informational and educational consultations and events, designed to help individuals learn about non-adversarial divorce options and how to manage divorce with respect and dignity. Please see CCND’s website or more information, to learn about all the events taking place and to schedule a free consultation.
