🚨 BIG MOVEMENT in the September 2026 Visa Bulletin! 🇺🇸

September is the final month of Fiscal Year 2026, and several family-sponsored preference categories moved forward significantly — in some cases by YEARS instead of months. 👀

Here are some of the biggest changes in the Final Action Dates:

📈 F1 – Unmarried adult children of U.S. citizens: moved forward more than 13 months
📈 F2B – Unmarried adult children of permanent residents: moved forward almost 20 months
📈 F3 – Married children of U.S. citizens: moved forward approximately 29 months
📈 F4 – Brothers and sisters of U.S. citizens: moved forward more than 2 years

For F2A – spouses and unmarried children under 21 of permanent residents, the Final Action Date for most countries is now August 22, 2026. Mexico remains subject to a different cutoff date.

And there is movement for Special Immigrant Juveniles (SIJS/EB-4) too. 💜 The Final Action Date advanced 2 months to December 15, 2022. It may not be the huge jump we saw in some family categories, but every month forward matters for young people who have been waiting years for a visa number.

⚠️ Important: A date moving forward does not automatically mean your green card can be approved. Your priority date, immigration category, country of chargeability, and the applicable Visa Bulletin chart all matter.

A marriage certificate proves you’re legally married. 💍 But it does not prove to USCIS that your marriage is real.

When USCIS reviews a marriage-based immigration case, they’re looking for evidence that shows you’re actually building a life together.

🏦 Joint bank accounts
🏠 Leases or mortgages
📄 Joint tax returns
🩺 Health, auto & life insurance
💡 Shared household bills
📸 Photos throughout your relationship
👶 Children’s birth records
✈️ Trips, purchases & other proof of a shared life

But here’s the key: USCIS isn’t just checking boxes. They’re looking at the story your evidence tells.

Does your documentation make sense together? Does it show an ongoing relationship? Does it reflect the way you actually live as a married couple?

A strong marriage case isn’t about having one “perfect” document—it’s about presenting enough credible evidence to tell the full story of your marriage. ⚖️💜

🇺🇸 ¿Sabías que puedes solicitar la ciudadanía ANTES de cumplir tus 5 o 3 años como residente? 👀

USCIS permite presentar el Formulario N-400 hasta 90 días antes de cumplir con el requisito de residencia aplicable a tu caso. Eso significa que no necesariamente tienes que esperar hasta la fecha exacta para comenzar el proceso. ⏰

⚠️ Pero cuidado: presentar aunque sea demasiado temprano puede causarte problemas, así que es importante calcular correctamente tu fecha de elegibilidad antes de enviar la solicitud.

🚨 ¿Escuchaste que los cambios de “carga pública” significan que ya no podrás arreglar tu estatus? No necesariamente.

Hay MUCHÍSIMA información circulando en redes que está causando miedo — pero un cambio en la regla no significa que automáticamente quedas descalificado para solicitar un ajuste de estatus.

USCIS tiene que analizar tu caso completo, incluyendo tus ingresos, recursos, situación familiar, salud y las circunstancias particulares de cualquier asistencia pública que hayas recibido.

Por eso, una buena explicación y la evidencia correcta pueden hacer una gran diferencia. ⚖️

📌 No tomes una decisión tan importante por lo que viste en un video de 30 segundos. Cada caso es diferente.

La presentación electrónica obligatoria viene para ciertos formularios de USCIS, pero eso no significa que todas las solicitudes tengan que presentarse en línea desde ahora.

Lo más importante es mantenerse informado. Las reglas y los procedimientos de inmigración pueden cambiar rápidamente, y utilizar información desactualizada puede causar retrasos o problemas innecesarios en tu caso.

A marriage-based interview is not just about answering a few questions. USCIS may be evaluating your relationship, your immigration history, the evidence you provide, and whether your answers are consistent as a couple. ⚖️
