I was recently asked why the marina is named Salty when it's on a fresh water lake. Well, here is a little family history. Ross' Dad used to be called Old Salt (a Seafaring Man, an experienced Sailor). He named all his boats with a Salty name (and he had many over the years) then they changed the name of the marina to Salty Lagoon ( I believe around 1988). To continue the family business, it remains Salty Lagoon.
