IT'S THE FINAL WALK-THROUGH!
Every buyer should do a final walk-through to make sure the home is in the same condition as when you went under contract. You want to check for any new issues, leaks, or damage. You also want to make sure everything attached to the home is still there (anything bolted, screwed, or glued), and also make sure anything not attached, is removed! It's not your responsibility to throw out things that don't belong to you.
I suggest the final walk-through right before settlement, but you are allowed two walk-throughs, so you can utilize the other for measurements, to confirm a repair was completed, etc.
