🏡 UPDATE: Zillow & MRED Listing Feed Restored
Good news for home buyers and sellers!
A federal judge has ordered the restoration of MRED listing feeds to Zillow and Trulia, and MRED has already begun turning those feeds back on.
What does this mean for consumers?
✅ More homes will once again be visible on Zillow and Trulia ✅ Sellers can expect broader online exposure for their listings ✅ Buyers should have access to a more complete selection of available properties ✅ Consumers can search with greater confidence that they're seeing more of the market
The ruling also reinforces that eligible MLS listings should be displayed consistently rather than selectively excluded from public search results.
While the legal discussions between the companies continue, the important takeaway for buyers and sellers is simple: MRED listings are returning to Zillow, restoring visibility and helping consumers see a more complete picture of the housing market.

MRED covers MUCH of the state of Illinois from the top to the bottom. If you've been searching for homes on Zillow lately, there's an important change you should know about.

MRED (the MLS used by many REALTORS® throughout Illinois and surrounding areas) has discontinued its listing feed to Zillow and Trulia. That means Zillow may no longer display all homes currently available for sale in our market.

If you're house hunting, relying on a single website could mean missing available properties. If you're selling, your home's visibility on Zillow may also be affected.
