Don’t you love it when a general notary call turns into an apostille project? ✨

I received a call for what was supposed to be a simple mobile notary appointment involving three documents. However, once I arrived, I noticed the paperwork was connected to a visa application.

Because of my experience with embassy and apostille processing, I asked one simple question: Will any of these documents need to be certified by the state before going to the embassy?

The client wasn’t sure, so I followed up with: Do you have any instructions from the receiving country?

Once he pulled out the paperwork, sure enough—the birth certificate needed an apostille.

I was able to let him know that I also offer apostille courier services, and what started as a standard notary appointment turned into a premium service solution.

The lesson? Ask the right questions. You never know when you’ll uncover an additional need and create a smoother experience for your client.

Meeting clients halfway is what sets professionals apart. 💼✨

Welcome to The first Day of Q2 !!!!

Q1 definitely was good to me and I hope to you as well!!

I’ve been seeing a lot of posts lately about people struggling to get their Google Business Profile verified… and I get it because I went through that process myself.

When I moved, I had to redo everything — verification, video recording, all of it. It wasn’t hard, but it definitely wasn’t as straightforward as people make it seem either.

So I started paying attention to what actually works vs. what causes delays.

Over time I was able to:
✔ Verify 2 home-based locations
✔ Verify 1 office location
✔ With no delays

And honestly… most of it just came down to doing things in the right order and understanding what Google is actually looking for.

I know a lot of people in here are either:
• just getting started
• stuck in verification
• or keep getting denied

So I took everything I learned and put it into a simple step-by-step guide.

Not because I think people can’t figure it out — but because I see how many are getting stuck.

It’s a 12-step breakdown of exactly what I did, plus a walkthrough example of the video verification part (since that seems to trip people up the most).

And just to be clear — this isn’t a “get rich quick” anything.

It’s literally just:
👉 do this → avoid this → here’s what works

If you’re someone who prefers to figure things out on your own, I respect that completely.

But if you’d rather follow something already mapped out, I made it available.

Also — if anyone does end up using it and gets verified, I would genuinely appreciate you coming back and sharing your experience.

How often are you flagging your documents?

Do you prep every single signing…
Or only when you have multiple back-to-back appointments?

Or do you rely purely on your skill and knowledge?

For me personally, I flag when I have multiple signings in a day. It helps me move through each packet quicker and stay on track.

Now don’t get me wrong—I consider myself very knowledgeable when it comes to loan signings. I can get through a package without flags if needed…

But on busy days, I don’t skip the step.

Flagging helps eliminate common errors, keeps the flow smooth, and protects my commission.

Efficiency + accuracy will always win 💯
