Last summer we bid farewell to Corinne for her tour of duty in the Middle East. We are excited to announce that she is back and we are grateful for her safe return! Come join us in May to honor her service. All are welcome.

Folks often ask how Corinne is doing during her tour of duty in Kuwait. They keep her busy, so we don't get much for updates. However, I did learn that over the holiday she did their own version of the "Turkey Trot" (a 5K run) and then helped serve Thanksgiving lunch before enjoying a bite with fellow soldiers. It was about 65 degrees during the run, which felt kind of chilly, she reports! She shared that she is thankful for all of the support Olaf and the family are receiving back home. Thanks for the update, Corinne, and thanks for your service and sacrifice, especially during the holiday season!

In addition to serving clients at Nethercut Schieber PA, attorney Corinne Haugen is a Major in the United States Army Reserves. Her commitments to the Army will place her on active-duty service overseas for a ten-month tour beginning in August. She will serve as the Senior Medical Advisor in the Surgeon Cell of the 103d Expeditionary Sustainment Command.

Corinne is a valued member of our law office team. We will work to provide exceptional legal services to our fullest ability even in her absence. Her extended absence will be felt not only by us, but by her family and community, too, and we thank Corinne and her family for her service and their shared sacrifice.

We are proud that Corinne will be representing Southeast, MN well during her time abroad. We look forward to her safe return next year and appreciate everyone’s extra patience and understanding in the meantime.

We had a special visitor today! Richard Krambeer, who worked as an attorney in this office in the mid 1970s, came by for a visit. So much has changed, but so much is still the same, including the location of the safe! Pictured below is attorney Michael Smutny (red jacket) with firm founder, George Frogner. Richard posed in the same spot to commemorate his return visit.
