We helped two people reopen their immigration court cases after they were ordered deported for not going to their court hearings. Important points:

✳️ Appointments with ICE are different than court hearings.

✳️ You can check if you're scheduled for court by visiting https://acis.eoir.justice.gov/en/ and putting in your "A" number or file number.

✳️ If you don't go to court, the Immigration Judge will order you deported, and it can be very hard (or impossible) to reopen the case.

✳️ If you have been ordered deported for not going to court, you contact a lawyer immediately. There is sometimes a time limit for reopening.

✳️ If you have questions about court hearings, you can call 956-513-7633 to schedule a consultation. We don't respond to Facebook messages.

✳️ Each case is different so we can't promise the same results. We always promise to try our best for each client.

Por orden ejecutiva, Trump le dio a la gente venezolana protecction contra la deportacion (DED) y autorizacion del trabajo. Estas son buenas y malas noticias. Para los venezolanos quienes ya estan en los EEUU, son buenas noticias. Para los que siguen en MPP, lamentablemente, este anuncio no les sirve. Vamos presionar a Biden para que les resuelve su situacion. Y para la gente de paises donde hay mucho conflicto, como de Cameroon, America Central, y otros- vamos a luchar.

Through an Executive Order issued in the last few hours of his presidency, Trump granted protected against deportation (DED) to Venezuelans along with work authorization. This is both good and bad news.

For Venezuelans who are currently in the United States, this is good news. For Venezuelans who are currently in MPP, this will not help you. We will continue to pressure Biden to provide a solution for you. And for other people from countries that suffer from widespread conflict- Cameroon, Central America, and others- we will keep fighting.
