Navigating the Social Security disability benefits process can be complex and overwhelming. 🤔 At RGV Disability, PLLC, we understand how crucial it is for the Social Security Administration (SSA) to evaluate both the physical and mental limitations that impact your ability to work.

📋 If your impairments do not meet specific criteria, the SSA assesses your Residual Functional Capacity (RFC). This evaluation considers what tasks you can still accomplish on a regular, ongoing basis, taking into account possible exertional, nonexertional, physical, and mental limitations.

Understanding how your basic work abilities, such as following instructions or handling workplace stress, are considered in your RFC assessment is vital. If limitations significantly hinder your work activities, the SSA might find you eligible for disability benefits.

For those with severe impairments in any of these key abilities, consulting an experienced attorney can make all the difference. Our team is here to guide you through the intricate details and advocate for the benefits you deserve.

Reach out to us for a consultation and let us help you make informed decisions. 💼📞

Navigating the process of a disability hearing can feel overwhelming, but understanding what to expect can help ease the stress. 🤝

Here's Part 2 of what you can anticipate during your hearing:

🔍 **Testifying About Your Situation:**
- You will discuss your work history and why you stopped working. If you're still working, you'll explain why it isn't considered substantial gainful activity.
- Share details about your severe mental or physical conditions and their daily impact, as well as your treatments and their effectiveness.
- Be ready to talk about your Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and any difficulties you face.

👥 **The Role of Expert Witnesses:**
- A Vocational Expert (VE) will likely testify, analyzing your work history and limitations using resources like the Dictionary of Occupational Titles.
- Medical Experts may provide opinions based on your medical records, discussing severity and potential limitations.

🎙 **Including Other Witnesses:**
- You’re allowed to have your own witnesses—inform the ALJ at the beginning of the hearing.

🪑 **Physical Comfort During the Hearing:**
- If sitting becomes uncomfortable due to physical conditions, request permission to stand.

If your situation is complex, we recommend consulting an experienced Social Security disability attorney for tailored guidance. 🏛️
