🏡 BIG CHANGES ARE COMING TO HOME APPRAISALS!

APPRAISAL REPORTING is changing!
Here's whats new and how it affects your clients.

Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac are rolling out a new appraisal reporting system, replacing forms that have been used for more than 20 years.

Here’s what buyers, sellers & Realtors need to know:

🩷 Appraisals will be more detailed and easier to understand
🩷 Properties will be documented more thoroughly
🩷 Comps will provide more context and transparency
🩷 MLS accuracy and detailed listings will matter more than ever
🩷 Realtors CAN provide appraisers with factual information
🩷 Appraisers may ask more questions and request additional documentation

📅 November 2, 2026: The new UAD 3.6 system becomes required for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac appraisal submissions.

My biggest takeaway: DOCUMENTATION MATTERS. Accurate MLS information and good property records can help give an appraiser the clearest picture possible of a home.

A big change for our industry—and definitely something Realtors, buyers & sellers should know! 🏡📊
