We had the pleasure of attending their open house and were truly impressed by the beautiful transformation of this space. It’s inspiring to see a young couple invest their talent and vision into our community, breathing new life into Halifax.

“Going to work, or just getting off?” Early morning at the polls, I heard a law enforcement officer ask this of a nurse.

A group of retired gentlemen gave information about their preferred candidates.

Inside my polling location, I was greeted by name, and asked about my children. I chuckled as they verified my name and address against my license (because we both knew each other)

I voted confidentially and left with my sticker. It struck me how beautiful it was to be able to participate in this process.

It has always been my opinion that voting and serving on juries are our greatest responsibilies as Americans.

May we continue to show that we are worthy of being called the greatest nation through the diligent presence of our citizens at the polls and in the jury box in the Courtroom!
