We are looking to hire for an entry level paralegal position. A paralegal degree is not necessary but experience in an office environment and in the legal field is a plus. We will train you for the position. We are looking for someone with excellent written and verbal communication skills. We anticipate pay being $15/hour starting out with experience. Victoria Blair works in the bankruptcy department, aiding clients throughout the process. This includes requesting documents from clients and assisting with the preparation of the bankruptcy before it is filed with the United States Bankruptcy Court. She provides clients with necessary information regarding their bankruptcy, including hearing dates and document deadlines. She also focuses on the post filing needs in order to prepare the documents for upcoming hearings.

Mrs. Blair works alongside the attorneys to administer Trusts, Charitable Remainder Unitrusts (CRUTs), and Irrevocable Life Insurance Trusts (ILITs). This includes handling financial matters, such as working closely with accountants during the tax season and making distributions to beneficiaries. She also assists in drafting and recording deeds with Land Records and administering small estates through the Register of Wills office in Maryland. Her attention to detail and hard work makes her a great asset to the firm.

Mrs. Blair has been with the Firm for nine (9) years this month. She has proven herself to be reliable and capable. Her knowledge and skills are a big asset to the firm. You can always count on her for a good attitude and smile. We appreciate all of your hard work and dedication and we are fortunate to have you on our team!

Ms. Rice assists the attorneys with Estate Administration, and helps clients navigate through the daunting process of honoring their loved one’s final wishes. Specifically, she works with the clients and attorney to open the estate, research, locate, and liquidate assets, prepare and file all of the necessary documents with the Registers of Wills, handle final expenses, have final personal tax returns and fiduciary returns prepared, and distribute financial assets to beneficiaries.

It is her goal to ensure that the estate process is made easier for clients during this difficult time by helping them to understand the estate administration process and the steps they need to take in order to close their loved one’s estate. She is persistent and diligent in making sure any and all assets are located and liquidated in a timely manner. Her job also includes handling the time consuming process of paying the decedent’s final expenses and cancelling insurance policies and household expenses. She also tracks filing deadlines and works with clients to make sure all documents are prepared and ready to be filed expeditiously. Her willingness to continue to learn and grow makes her a valuable part of our team.

Christine is very reliable. We appreciate all of her hard work and are very glad that she is on our team!

Ms. Kingsbury primarily works with Ms. Hare and Ms. Blair in the bankruptcy department. She assists clients with questions and concerns they may have regarding their bankruptcy, and stays connected with each client to assure all necessary documentation is being provided. Ms. Kingsbury also assists other paralegals with their work, including but not limited to, Estate Planning, Estates, and Trusts. She willingly contributes to a variety of departments of the firm in order to assure tasks and deadlines are being met. She also works closely with Attorney Chester Hobbs, regularly drafting dictated letters and memos.
Additionally, Ms. Kingsbury handles Irrevocable Life Insurance Trusts (ILITs), assuring all life insurance payments are satisfied in a timely manner.
She was recently a beautiful bride when she married her high school sweetheart. She has grown exponentially during her time with us and we are very happy to have her on our team. Thank you for all of your hard work!

Ms. Bontrager is in the estate planning department for Dolina Hobbs. Ms. Bontrager joined Dolina Hobbs in August of 2017 as a document specialist. This position became the basis for an understanding of how our firm operates and how vital the process is to keep accurate records. Due to expansion in the firm, a position became available for an estate planning paralegal.
Estate planning constitutes the drafting and executing of Wills, Trusts and Medical and Financial Powers of Attorney for the firm’s numerous estate planning clients. She works closely with the attorney and client to reach the goals that the client is seeking to plan for the future of their estate.
Ms. Bontrager also drafts real estate agreements and contracts and assists the attorney with establishing corporate accounts, including drafting the operating agreement and articles of organization and securing tax ID information for LLC clients.

Ms. Bontrager is an animal lover. She has cats, dogs and horses. When she is not working she can often be found riding and taking care of her horses.

Dolina Hobbs is very thankful for Ms. Bontrager and all of her hard work.
