My first 3 cases as an Investigator for the Office of the Public Defender for Maryland resulted in: 1) All charges dropped. Found video evidence of the defendant not at the scene when a burglary took place, even when the victim was showed a picture and said “yes, that’s the guy”. 2). Charges reduced for someone that has been begging for mental health help for quite a while. 3). Not guilty by jury. I located witnesses that identified the complainant as the one trying to get the defendant arrested without cause and provided false accusations in the complaint filed with the court.

I will continue to remain impartial and objective.

Found out today I’m THE investigator to use in one of the MD districts I assist.

Some good news to share!!!

Cavan Solutions Group got approved to start working cases providing investigative services for the Maryland Office of the Public Defender for the following counties: Frederick, Washington and Montgomery.

I’ve worked so hard to get to this point and I can’t wait for the experience to really participate in the legal system in this way.
