Marianne and I are excited and privileged to be inducted into the Omicron Delta Kappa, National Leadership Honor Society, Sigma Circle/University of Maryland Chapter. The Society recognizes and encourages superior leadership and exemplary character. The Society, founded in 1914, supports collaboration among students, faculty, and alumni. It is highly selective. It recognizes academic achievement, community involvement, and career achievement. There are chapters in many colleges and universities throughout the United States.

As a Vietnam era veteran, it is nice to feel the warm support from the community. Many of our colleagues are no longer with us but not forgotten.
