The times they are a changin…

There comes a time when we need to make changes in our lives. As a young Psych student at the University of Utah, I remember a professor building a whole lecture around the saying “Change is synonymous with growth!”

I have grown a whole bunch the past few weeks. After 26 years operating in the Tri-state market, Roger Fairbourn Real Estate is becoming Roger Fairbourn NextGen Realty! Eric Exline is now the Broker/Owner!

I am not leaving real estate or leaving town either, though New Orleans still beckons. I have decided to extend my career to a nice round fifty years. It seems that having made it 44 years in this business, leaving now would be silly. Fifty years sounds better.

I will become an associate broker rather that the BROKER! I will have some more flexibility in my schedule to pursue other interests. Among them…fishing the Snake River, cooking school in New Orleans from time to time and of course trains in my new train room here on Eastern Boulevard.

I will look forward to helping friends and past clients alike meet all of their real estate needs.

Uniquely Hagerstown! Known for its long time locally made Krumpe’s donuts, Hagerstown turns out every year for the Krumpe’s donut run to raise funds for wounded vets.

Years ago as a young man, date night was often a movie and a late night stop at Krumpe’s for warm glazed donuts and a jug of cold milk!

Tonight as we watched runners hit the finish line on the race, staff walked the crowd offering trays of fresh donuts!

What other community offers absolutely delicious sugar coated carb bombs at a sporting event??!!??!!
