Q: How long have you worked for Ace Reporters?

A: I have worked for Ace for two and a half years. They are the most flexible and accommodating firm I have ever worked with.

Q: What are you passionate about?

A: I have been a court reporter for 38 years and I love this field. The thing that I am most passionate about is keeping court reporting schools filled with the hopes of flooding the field with court reporters, which has not been an easy task. I will continue to push all my colleagues to get certifications and keeping up with technology, which is the key to keeping reporters relevant and the preferred method of guarding the record.

Ace Reporters, Inc. is proud to work closely this month with Nadelie Rosen, the RMH Charities Chair, and Alpha Delta Pi at the College of Charleston, in their Meals that Heal program for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Charleston.

Meals That Heal volunteers work as a group to shop, coordinate and plan menus, purchase ingredients and prepare meals in the Ronald McDonald House’s fully-equipped kitchen located in Charleston, South Carolina.

As a Meals That Heal volunteer, you provide so much more than just food: You provide families with time to decompress with others after a tough day at the hospital, with the comfort and warmth of a home-cooked meal.

Celebrating 20 Years of Friendship and Success

In 2003, a young, quiet and reserved Claudia McFillin crossed paths with Dawn Kelly, who was more of an outgoing personality type, and they blindly embarked on a joint venture without even knowing much about each other. Despite their somewhat contrasting personalities, they recognized a connection and could see the potential in combining their skills. Together, they created a brand that has survived the test of time. Beyond their professional achievements, Claudia and Dawn’s partnership blossomed into an unbreakable bond of friendship that more closely resembles a family unit, right down to the bonds shared between their children. Through the highs and lows of entrepreneurship and personal life, they supported and celebrated each other, united by their loyalty, gratitude and shared dreams. As they celebrate 20 years of success, their story serves as a testament to the power of genuine friendship and the remarkable things that can be achieved when two extraordinary women come together. From two virtual strangers who embarked on a business venture, they have become inseparable best friends, united by their loyalty, goals, and a deep admiration for one another.
