There’s a moment at every closing table that never gets old to me.
The papers are signed. The keys slide across the table. Someone exhales for what feels like the first time in 45 days. 🗝️
But what most people don’t see are the hundred moving parts that had to line up to get there.
The inspection surprises.
The appraisal hurdles.
The late-night negotiations.
The contracts, timelines, attorneys, lenders, title work, repairs, emotions, fears, second thoughts and “what ifs.”
A real estate transaction is not just unlocking a front door. It’s guiding people through one of the biggest financial and emotional decisions of their lives with a steady hand when things get stormy.
That responsibility carries weight with me. Always.
Because when my buyers say, “We’re trusting you,” those aren’t just words floating around in a text message. That’s someone trusting me with their savings, their children’s next bedroom, their future holidays, their fresh start, their retirement plan, their everything.
And I don’t take that lightly.
Getting clients to the closing table gracefully is part strategy, part grit, part communication and part staying calm when everyone else feels like a shaken soda can. 😅
This business has taught me that pretty pictures and “just listed” signs are the easy part. The real work happens behind the scenes when your Realtor knows how to solve problems before they become deal-breakers.
That’s the part I’m proud of.
Not just selling homes.
Getting people home. 🤍
