(201) Magazine names Frederic C. Goetz, Esq. one of 2017 Bergen's Top Lawyers for both Real Estate and Matrimonial Family Law.

Hackensack, NJ - Frederic C. Goetz, Esq., was named one of (201) Magazine's Bergen County, New Jersey's Top Lawyers for 2017 in two categories: Real Estate Law and Matrimonial Family Law, along with several other leading attorneys throughout Bergen County, New Jersey. The announcement was heralded in (201) Magazine's, May, 2017 Edition, which recognized a few top Attorneys, as chosen by their peers, for their notable success and demonstration of strong leadership both within certain practice areas of law.

On Tuesday, May 16, 2017, Mr. Frederic C. Goetz, Esq. was elected by his peers to serve as the Chairman of the Zoning Board of Adjustment of the Township of Washington, Bergen County, New Jersey.

Big News! On Monday, February 27, Frederic C. Goetz, Esq., was appointed to a three year term on the Township of Washingtons Zoning Board!

Here's a brief summary on what a Zoning Board does and what Mr. Goetz will be doing alongside the Board:

Together, the Board will hear and decide appeals and requests for interpretation of the Zoning map or Zoning code. They will also grant use or bulk variances but only where such relief can be granted without substantially impairing the intent and purpose of the Master Plan or Zoning plan of the Township of Washington.

Congress has passed an extension of the closing deadline for the Homebuyer Tax Credit, the Homebuyer Assistance and Improvement Act (H.R. 5623). The extension applies only to transactions that have ratified contracts in place as of April 30, 2010, that have not yet closed. The legislation is designed to create a seamless extension the new closing deadline for eligible transactions is now September 30, 2010.
