I don’t know who needs to hear this but set up your voicemail box (or clear it out). Your attorney is trying to call you.

You still get billed even if all we hear on the other line is “I’m sorry, the number you are trying to call has a voicemail box that has not been set up yet. Goodbye.” 😄

Legal tip of the day! This has come up several times recently in our practice so I wanted to share:

If you are a victim of a crime, you do not have to pay for a lawyer to have your case prosecuted. Please do not hesitate to file a police report for financial reasons. Once a crime has been charged, the lawyer who will prosecute the case is employed by the city or the state.
