🌀 Hurricane Update | Office Closure Notice

Due to the approaching hurricane and anticipated severe weather conditions, our community offices are closed for the remainder of today, October 9, to ensure the safety of our residents and team members.

We will provide additional updates regarding the reopening of our office as conditions allow.

We encourage all residents to stay weather-aware, secure outdoor belongings, and monitor local weather reports and official Installation communications for important updates.

The safety and well-being of our residents and team members remain our top priority.

Dear Residents,
Please see the attached checklist for full details on preparing the property.
We ask that everyone closely monitor all local news and weather outlets for the latest updates. Additionally, please remove, store, or secure all loose items immediately. We are still observing a significant number of trash receptacles, recycling bins, bicycles, grills, planters, chairs, unsecured trampolines, and other loose items around the area. All such items must be taken indoors or safely stored away to ensure safety.
Thank you for your cooperation and prompt attention to this matter.

Storm-related installation services update
(Future updates will continue as conditions or services change)

1. Installation housing parade -- For the consideration of the safety of base personnel, residents and patrons, Today's 3 p.m. installation housing parade has been postponed due to the threat of severe weather.

When a new date/time for the parade has been identified, we will communicate the new information through various channels, including this page.

2. NEX and Mini-Mart -- Will close today at 5 p.m. and stay closed until normal hours Saturday.

Fuel pumps at the Mini-Mart will continue to operate until 10 a.m. Friday. Normal operations are planned for Saturday.

3. Commissary – Will close today at 5 p.m. and stay closed until normal hours Saturday.

4. CYP -- CYP is already scheduled to be closed Friday to patrons for in-service training day. CYP employees should check with supervisors for dismissal instructions.

5. RV Park is planned to stay open for all patrons.

6. Galley -- Friday dinner modified hours: 4 - 5:15 p.m.
Saturday breakfast modified hours: 7:30 – 9 a.m.

7. Gate closure -- 28th Street gate is still planned for closure due to maintenance on Saturday. Broad St. Gate will be open Saturday from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. Pass Road Gate remains 24/7 per normal operations.

8. Pass and ID will continue normal hours today and will be closed on Friday.

9. At this time, there will be no restrictions of installation access or moving around the base.

10. Once TCCOR Two is set, non-mission essential personnel will be dismissed from their workplaces. All employees must coordinate with supervisors for dismissal instructions.

No evacuations, including Lakeside barracks.

It is imperative that you monitor all weather and communications and prepare for the potential of severe weather. It is extremely important that you take time now to remove and store any outdoor items that could become projectiles in the event of severe wind and weather. We have placed ducks around the listed playgrounds! For on base residents, please bring your duck with numbers on the bottom to the community office before 5pm tomorrow for a prize. For Northpointe residents, contact us if you have a duck with a number on the bottom and we will coordinate a time to bring your gift to you!
